Program

Bringing a Drug to Market

Description

This half-hour program is part of the "Shape of Things to Come" series and examines how a drug is brought from the idea stage to the market place. A panel of experts explore the theory, economics and politics involved getting a product approved. The discussion will also address the years of research, the clinical trials, lobbying, pricing, competition, and marketing that take place throughout the process. The panel will then examine how these elements impact the delivery and costs of these medications to the citizens of New Jersey.
